Alternative Medicine for Animals? The Colorado State University has recently named Dr. Narda Robinson, an expert in scientific and evidence-based alternative medicine, to head a research on the application of alternative medicine practices to animals with a variety of diseases such as cancer. The first of its kind in the US, the research will include the practice and development of alternative therapies such as acupuncture in veterinary medicine. The study is also expected to benefit humans as well.

The UK is already practicing alternative medicine for animals, with The Alternative Veterinary Medicine Centre specializing in veterinary treatment with complementary or alternative medicine which includes homeopathy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, chiropractic treatment and laser therapy.

I wonder... would our pets also be benefiting from aromatherapy soon?
