Whether the second point is true or not, it doesn't prove anything. But it isn't true anyway, people are constantly trying to create complex lifelike AI, not just for games, for robots and stuff too. If that's not a simulation of the mind then what is?
The third point isn't even a point anyway, it's an opinion.
The first point contradicts itself because there would have to be an even more technologically advanced civilization to simulate life so there's even less chance of that happening than our current lives.
The argument is rife with logical fallacies, pedantic, and ultimately ineffectual because of its shortcomings. However, I'll concede that one can never really be certain of the nature of "reality" if it can likewise be conceded that the whether existence is "real" or a "simulation" has little to do with our being. Regardless of the nature of life, we live.
If we are part of a simulation, then our simulated world may be nothing like the "real" world, for example physics could be completely different or may not even exist at all. That means that any theories we can come up with about why we may actually be simulations, would be based only on what we know of our simulated world. So even if we are correct, we could think we are correct for entirely the wrong reasons as we may know of nothing "real" to base those theories on.
tottaly mindbogling (dumbfounded) ????????????
thats sad. i cant believe weve reached the point to where we have no faith in ourselves to even think that we are real...
what does it matter anyway? so what if we are simulations? what are you gonna do about it? exactly.
what if we are simulations? i mean ***** there is nothing we can do about it..... although i would like to find a glitch and like use telekenisis or something hahaha! wow, imagine infinate health, unlimited strength....
oh and lastly..... what would that make video games? a simulation of a simulation....? and that means emulators are a simulation of a simulation of a simulation.... GREAT SCOTT! ITS JUST CRAZY ENOUGH TO BE TRUE!
lol ...
... www.psipog.net ... shhh, i didn't tell you that
So your saying that it is imposable to get this High tech, So we have a higher being simulating us? WTF made the people/things simulating us that are more high tech. This is all bull.
god is not what the average human this a god is..
our god is actually a highly advanced civilization of humanoid like creatures that we humans tooks as god(s) in another time.. (ie; the time of jesus) there have been many timesa in the past that these beings have returned from the heavens (space) to give information to us humans..
they will reurn once more once there is peace on earth..
right now the battle for the holy lands is the beginning of a long battle that will span over many continents. we may never obtain peace.. we may fail as a species.
they are disappointed.
to everyone here who has not studied realism in a university education, please stop talking.
