Universe - Image 1For inquisitive minds, the question of how the universe came to be is usually on top of the list of ultimate queries. However, how many of us have gone on to wonder what there was before the great burst? Two physicists did and they've got a lead on the things that transpired eons ago.

Researchers Alejandro Corichi from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and Parampreet Singh from the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Ontario have been searching for answers for years, and they now have a theory ready to be published. The two scientists believe that a twin universe might have existed before the Big Bang.

“The significance of this concept is that it answers what happened to the universe before the Big Bang," said Singh as he discussed the mysteries of the phenomenon. He also noted the importance of contrasting views on whether the other side of the Big Bang was space-time or a quantum form.

The question of what there was before the Big Bang has often been viewed as a religious one by the physics community because trying to establish a mathematical basis for it was almost impossible. Applying Einstein's equation and theory of relativity on it yielded zeroes and errors, stopping researchers dead on their tracks.

The new study by the two scientists, however, uses a modified approach in dealing with the mathematical barriers. Using a simplified version of the LQG, some conclusions were drawn as to what there was in the other side of the big explosion that spawned reality as we know it.

Essentially, it was explained that there would have been a universe much like ours with the same basic features. The laws of physics there would have been the same, only it would seem that this one was moving backwards in time when viewed from afar.

“Such a universe will have many bounces from one branch to another,” Singh said. “It is also possible that universes in different branches will be identical.”

 » WTF?!

Okay, first, there is only one, and can only be one, universe.
Universe is everything in existance as a whole. If anything has existed or will exist, it will exist in this universe.
A lot of people don't understand this concept. Many people get 'galaxy' and 'universe' mixed up.

Second, the big bang theory theorizes where the universe comes from. This article says that the universe comes from the universe. That does not make any sense whatsoever. This seems like it was a waste of years of study.

LMAO.. a waste of years of study? From reading a few paragraphs and applying your retarded logic to it? Thank god we don't have people like you in the scientific field.

» Well he didn't understand to much , and he got confused thats all...

Yeah pretty intersting article there, it makes me wonder if there were Twin Universe after the Big Bang...

Also that they were exactly like ours in the actuality.

another thing that our was running backwards and theirs was foward evolving.

WOW!
Makes sense, Well may be those Universe would still exist , who said theres only one Universe...?

Well I don't know, my Skills aren't that skilled to determinate that yet like those 2 great Physics there.
They sure know what are they talking aboub.
Well there always people that cares about how, when and where from our very existance, thats good becasue if they don't who would...?

I hope that theory be comes a Statement, that way our past would be our future... something that we forget will be our memoration...

Thank! keep working on that! I wanna know more about this!

Thanks!

 » *sigh*

please stop wasting my tax dollars on researchers that don't really know what they are talking about.

thankyou >.<

really though, this is one of the many reasons why i believe in creationism over evolutionism - our ideas never change the core facts, this one does....
