He's even been to Springfield!Stephen Hawking, the guy who did something amazing concerning black holes, and wrote the best selling "A Brief History of Time", is set to start working on a new book entitled "The Grand Design".

The book, expected to be seen on shelves by fall 2008, examines the hows and whys of life the universe and everything. Douglas Adams reference aside, the book "tackles the question of why there even is a universe, looking at both the origin of it and why the laws of physics are what they are", according to Irwyn Applebaum of the Bantam Dell Publishing Group.

A "Brief History of Time", published way back in 1988 spent 72 weeks at the New York Time bestseller list and sold more than 10 million copies world wide.

Aside from the existential 42-ish book, Hawking is working on a series of children's books with his daughter Lucy. The books will be published next year.

Good luck with that book Mister Hawking, and more power to you. Keep rolling.
