Brett Stone is bound to get stoned. This Los Angeles resident is aiming to break the record of rolling the world's biggest joint. According to him, he was inspired to do attempt this after learning that the previous record of the biggest joint was made at 100 grams.

Stone, a medical marijuana user, said he thought it could have gone larger. So, in ushering the year 2007 in, he plans to build a .91-meter (three-foot) cigarette using around 112 grams of marijuana. But no worries, 'cause marijuana use has been legal in California since 1996, at least for medical purposes, particularly to be used as pain relievers.

According to him, he is highly cautious in ensuring that his record attempt will not cause any legal troubles for him, and saying that the joint would be smoked in a local medical marijuana collective, probably as a fund raiser. In fact, he even extends an invitation to no less than the city Mayor and the Police Chief themselves, saying that they'd "be most welcome if they have a doctor's note to consume cannabis."

But that's not all. He plans to roll an even bigger joint for the U.S. football final at the Super Bowl come February. In fact, he's already asked companies for sponsorship for his rolling papers. Roll away, Stone. Roll away.
