hot summerJuly 2006 will go down in British climate history as a scorcher month.  July's heat peaked at 36.5C, a new record for the month named after Julius Cesar, and described it as exceptionally sunny and hot. And the weather is just warming up, so to speak. A report in the Journal of Climate says Brits will be sweating it out in yearly summer heatwaves of up to 110C by the end of the century. Scientists blame global warming.

The good news is, UK will be cooler than the rest of  Europe, America and East Asia.  These areas, the research say, will experience even hotter summers.

we double checked our source and it said "up to 110C." the article described the heatwaves as "roasting" so it must be 110C.

Yeah, but that source is the Mirror. :) It's not exactly National Geographic. They've been known to make mistakes. LOL Oh well, if it's 110C, it's 110C. We'll all be dead far before the end of the century, so I guess we'll never know. :)
