Salt water fuel debunked: not solution to energy crisis

Only yesterday we reported that salt water has been discovered to be a type of fuel source that could solve the energy crisis. Today, well, let's just say if they used it to solve the energy crisis, we would have an energy apocalypse. Ecogeek reports that the new source of clean fuel takes up more energy than it releases.

The basic principle of salt water as a fuel is that the liquid is bombarded with a certain type of radio wave which loosens its flammable hydrogen bonds, making it an effective source of fuel for fire. The potential uses of such a clean type of energy was limitless except for one flaw: the radio waves needed to bombard the salt water takes up more energy than the 3000 degree Fahrenheit flame the hydrogen gas feeds.

This effectively knocks out any viable option for salt water to become an efficient type of fuel (unless our goal is to actually waste energy.) The article says that if the salt water gave off more energy than the radio waves needed to bombard it, this would break the laws of physics: "[the] energy required to break the bonds of a molecule of water has always been greater than the energy produced by burning hydrogen and oxygen to create water."

We might not be making a quick trip to the beach to fuel our cars anytime soon, but all scientists have to do is break the laws of physics and voila.

This is the reason hydrogen as a fuel is not the Cure-all of our energy crisis. It takes energy to split water to get hydrogen, which then can be burned by cars. Hydrogen sucks anyways, its just a long azz method of getting power to cars. I think we should just skip the hydrogen stage and just get electric cars. Do some R+D in battery technology, and for the power do some mroe R+D in solar pannel tech and other free energy technology.

Well anyway, I can only imagine what would happen when we siphoned billions of gallons of water from the ocean and burnt it.

water vapor. Thats right water vapor, no polution, the exhaust is basically turns back to water. Now why was this method turn down? Because the oil industry trades billions and billions dollars of diesel oil alone, and they are not about to give that up.
Ever wonder why STD's med like AID's cure are turn down? have you ever heard of some multimillionaire die from HIV/Aids?
pharmaceutical evaluation company turn down such cure because if there is a cure, they cant sell as many temporary meds that only ease peoples pain temporarily and require it lifetime till death. Same was to be believe for Cancer's.
Greed makes people evil, but we cant say if we wont do the same if we are in the same position as them. Since the action is done by the company, these individual make themselves believe it is not their fault but the company's decisions and thats how they sleep at night.

diesel oil hu? never heard of that one. Anyways, your theory is crap. And the reason they turned this down is because you put say 10watts of energy in, and only get say 9watts out. wtf are you going to do with negative 1 watt of energy? BUT, you are right, it will be a clean ass negative 1 energy, GO CAPTAIN PLANET!!!
