Scientist Creates Cold Fusion For the First Time In Decades - Image 1Almost two decades ago, a group of scientists presented a report on the existence of cold fusion. Unfortunately, the research was bogged down in controversy and since then, the prospect of cold fusion is often met with skepticism, like it was the alchemist's quest to turn lead into gold.

Cold fusion drew a lot of negative attention because of the controversy, but that doesn't mean that cold fusion is just fool's gold though. It might exist yet - it's just that a lot of people have given up on the notion. Now, a retired physics professor in Japan claims that he has been able to successfully demonstrate cold fusion.

Is it the real deal? Or just another dead end? According to accounts, the professor, Yoshiari Arata, was actually able to demonstrate his process of cold fusion to the media, as well as people from universities and companies. The process is yet to be confirmed as authentic and effective, but it does show some promise.
