A new NASA mission has been proposed which involves landing several astronauts on the Apophis asteroid, predicted to strike the Earth by 2030. The mission will have a more observational nature rather than a violent one as astronauts will deliver samples taken off the space rock for scientists to study back on Earth. More details regarding this in our full article. |

If you want to develop an MMORPG, you need to have the necessary funding with which to support it. What would you do if someone suddenly cut your budget? That seems to be the case with NASA and the educational MMORPG that the organization was looking into. Does this mean the end of that MMORPG? Not necessarily. Turn to the full article after the jump to find out what we mean. |

Scientists have reason to believe that solar flares may be somehow linked with the "starquake" solar phenomena occasionally experienced by our solar system's sun. Images taken from the ESA-NASA SOHO spacecraft may give some clue to the long-standing mystery behind the sun's interior make-up. You can read more about the details of this study in our full article. |

Remember all those sci-fi movies where astronauts hibernate in cryogenic stasis during long space flights? Researchers are now looking into a way to make space hibernation a possibility - without the cryogenics though. They plan to make them breathe in swamp gas instead. Wait... Swamp gas? You'll have to read the full article to find out why. |

If you were wondering just why we haven't yet stepped foot onto Mars, here's quite the revelation: it seems that a certain dangerous element that all astronauts are exposed to whenever they reach orbit is stopping NASA from getting there. And no, it's not space gremlins or anything like that. All the perplexing details in the full article. |
