the burnt bush - Image 1What do you do if heat is boring through you? The most logical thing is to deflect it, of course. And that's what the U.S. government wants to do exactly. Because of the sizzling issue of global warming, they are now calling upon the scientists of the world to come up with technology that will efficiently shield our dear planet from the harsh and excessive rays of sunshine.

The idea pitched in focused mainly on giant mirrors in space or reflective dust thrown into the atmosphere that will serve as an "important insurance" from rising emissions. Of course, with such a defense in place, it then wouldn't be necessary anymore for the United Nations to consider a new international climate treaty that will ultimately bind targets to reduce emissions.

How efficient could reflecting the sunlight be in reducing the effects of global warming? According to scientists in a previous study, less than one percent reflected back is already enough to "compensate for the warming generated by all greenhouse gases emitted since the industrial revolution."

Well, ain't that efficient?

 » too complicated

Plant plants (HA) plants do a carbon exchange i.e. swap CO2 for O2, thus, removing greenhouse gasses.

Just dont burn the plants afterwards.......
