Cassini's exploration of the planet Saturn and its moon Enceladus has been very helpful in scientists' study of other planets.

When Cassini was able to pass by Cassini, it sent back very informative photos about Saturn's moon, Enceladus. It was able to take photos of geysers emitting liquid water. As this is an important find, those involved in the Cassini project are thinking about extending Cassini's mission to be able to let it pass by the moon again and gather more information about it.

The Cassini mission will end June 30, 2008, but if the spacecraft and the mission's budget will allow it, it will try to pass by Enceladus again to try to find out if living organisms can survive on this moon.
