AlienAnd here they are: the top ten Close Encounters of the Third Kind, disproved, debunked and refuted:

Myth 10: Aliens Constructed the Great Pyramids

Fact: Construction methods used by the ancient Egyptians are well documented in National Geographic, as well as other places. Those ancients had a lot more on the ball than we often give them credit for.

Myth 9: - Cattle Mutilations Are The Work Of Extra-Terrestrials

Fact: These types of predation been going on for thousands of years. It is only in the last thirty that people have thought to attribute them to extra-terrestrials. In fact, close and objective study shows that these "mysterious" features can be attributed to natural decay and scavengers.

Myth 8: The U.S. Government is Hiding Alien Bodies and Technology In Area 51

Fact: The U.S. Government - especially recently - is secretive by nature. This is near the site of several old nuclear tests, and media reporter Leslie Stahl suggests it may be a dumping ground for toxic waste as well - a good enough reason to stay away.

Myth 7: The Mysterious "Crop Circles" Are Actually Alien Spacecraft Landing Sites

Fact: Like the Pacific Northwest's bigfoot, this has been proven to be a hoax perpetrated by people with too much time on their hands.

Myth 6: The Face On Mars Was Built By an Alien Civilization

Fact: Close-up photos from different angles show that it is no more than a natural rock formation. Geology and wishful thinking can play strange tricks on the eyes.

Myth 5: The Alien Autopsy Film

Fact: See #7. The Special Effects artist who created this film confessed earlier this year.

Myth 4: Flying Saucers Are Alien Space Vehicles

Fact: This is the result of a misprint. The original reporter described what he saw as a "crescent shaped" that "flew erratic, like a saucer if you skip it across the water"—not that what he saw resembled an actual saucer. Unfortunately, the description stuck, and (see #6) people see what they want to see...

Myth 3: Alien Implants

Fact: According to Joe Nickell, who writes for the Skeptical Inquirer: “Since 1994 alleged implants have been surgically recovered but they’ve become remarkably diverse: one looks like a shard of glass, another a triangular piece of metal, still another a carbon fiber, and so on. " See #6.

Myth 2: Alien Abductions

Fact: False memories are sometimes created in therapy by psychologists who are careless. Other research have shown that a psychological process called "sleep paralysis" can also lead to strange delusions.

Myth 1: The Roswell Incident

Fact: In the years between the end of World War II and the 40-year period of paranoia known as the "Cold War," there was a spy program called Project Mogul. The scraps recovered by the Air Force were that of a weather balloon, and eyewitness descriptions are consistent with this. The stories of alien bodies appeared much later, and seem to be related to local folklore going back a century.

 » Seriously.

I know a couple of those things are hoaxes, such as cattle mutilations. On the other hand the theory that aliens built the pyramids is one theory... But alot of people believe that the great pyramid of Giza was built by a civilization before the egyptians, this civilization would even be more advanced than the egyptians. If you divide the perimeter of the pyramid by its height, one obtains a close approximation to 2pi. This number wasn't even discovered until about 500-600 A.D. Also Ancient Egyptian records do not record the building of the pyramid of Giza. When the tomb of the pyramid of Giza was opened the sarchophagos was empty, isn't that a little odd? And the body could not have been stolen, because the entrance was sealed by four granite walls. Other things such as the Roswell alien incident could have really happened also, as well as many other things. But I'm sure that there alot things like this that never happened. And to number 1, if anything is possible, than wouldn't it be impossible for there to be something impossible???

crop circles.. a lot of them are hoaxes..but some are unexplained..like a documentary where the bottoms of the crops wernt bent or snapped..they were heated so hot that they actually melted down. this cant be accomplished by a hoax..

myth 8.. the government could cover up anything and make you believe anything.. saying that its cause of toxic waste is a good reason but they can hide anything from us.

alien autopsy film.. i never believed that at all..

alien implants.. some of the implants have been attatched to the end of a nerve..when removed it has caused patients to jump up in the air while under aesthetic

pyramids..they are not well documented in national geographic.. scientists tried constructing a pyramid 1/40th the size and was unable to accomplish it as perfectly as the great pyramid of giza.

 » they don't exist.

the idea of 'aliens' is a modern way to divert the people's attention from the workings of the "masons"

 » I believe in 1,4,7 and maybe 10

1 IS possible, it would just be more credible in this day in age.

4, how would aliens get around? Out of the millions of probable planets out there, your saying one does'nt happen to be 93 million miles away from a star abou the size of the sun? C'mon now, there are probably 100's maybe even thousands of other planets that support life, at least, and im sure at least 1 of those planets are millions of years more advanced in technology than we are. We have only had about 150 years for technology to really get ago. I mean, little over just 100 years ago flying was thought of as a joke. Now, its used daily and not really thought of as a BIG advancement. Now, if a world happened to have a Newton or Einstien before we did. Or at least, a LOONG miniut before earth was even in existence. My point is, the probability of another earth thats millions of years ahead in technology then we are? Imagine, we acomplished so much since 1850's, think, the year 100,002,006? Do you know what we would have? Stuff just more off the wall than "I robot." In fact, a hover car would be so outdated by that time, it would be in million year old history books. We would probably have a "Dreamworks26465.325!" That is like a virtual boy, but less intense, and plays like a lullabye like toon to lull you to sleep while your mind is constantly flooded with thoughts about some fuuturistic halo 3467 game! So, it would cause you to have a sweet as realistic dream, which would be much better than playing it, it would flash weapons and used some futuristic technic to have your mind retain it through the night. Accually, that would be smalltalk compared to what would most likely be invented. Dont laugh at this crazy dreamworks thing. By 100 years, it will be possible and outdated. Dell Deminsion 17000 would be a classic.

7- This has'nt been proven to be fake buddy. You obviously dont believe in outside life as if god sits and watchess jsut this planet all day... Accually, crop circles are quite logical for ANYTHING that lands! Even a fighter jet!

10- I have a hard time believing that humans built something so smoothly made and was able to life 200 pound boulders as a normal day routine. Maybe the wall of china, maybe. But back then, logic of even the smartest humans would be limited to so much. And even though, its possible, which i am always open to possibilities, I still have a hard time believing that. Or if not that, supernatural cavemen like humans that are'nt really magic, but were so adapted to "rocky life", could make stone cold steve austin look like a toddler, then thats also a possibility.

Theres my 2 cents. Any feedback on my speech, you can e-mail me at bnd1@aol.com

» Comon, there must be somthing out there

No one knows how big Space is, but we know that its bigger than we can imagine. In the universe there are BILLIONS of galaxies. In those galaxies Solar Systems. In those Solar Systems are Planets. If you really think that we are the only lifeforms in this WHOLE Universe, you must be crazy. Animals on different planets can be aliens too. They actually found aliens on a planet in our Solar Sytems, they are microscopic cells (I think it was saturn or jupitur) ( oh and sorry for my bad spelling)
